Three eastern Iowa officers involved in a standoff earlier this year are cleared to go back on the job.

In March, North Liberty police showed up at a home after someone complained of a domestic disturbance.

They say 28-year-old Taleb Salameh fired shots at police injuring two officers.

Police eventually shot and killed him

After a month long investigation, the department has cleared the three officers of any wrong doing.

The department says it will conduct an additional internal review of the event and departmental policies.
