A four-year-old who was mauled by a dog Monday has died.

Now the dog’s owner is under arrest.

Virginia McCuen is inconsolable.  Her granddaughter, four year old Jordyn Arndt, was mauled by a pit bull at her babysitter's home.

Tuesday, little Jordyn died.

The owner of the dog, 24-year old Jana Marie Wright, was babysitting Jordyn when the dog attacked.

Neighbors tell us they have filed several complaints about the vicious dog, but police will not confirm that.

Jordyn’s grandmother is remembering the little girl’s smile…and saying good-bye as she was removed from life support.  "I went and I bought her a teddy bear and I put it by her head and I gave her a kiss and I told her that I'm sorry it wasn't a purple bear because her favorite color is purple." McCuen said, "And I told her that she can go be with my mother.  And that she can fly."

Wright and her husband both have criminal records for drug arrests.  She is charged with child endangerment resulting in death and neglect or abandonment of a dependent person.
