ADVANCED PLACEMENT: More Students Taking AP Exams

As the school year comes to an end students in Advanced Placement courses are getting ready to take their exams.

According to Des Moines Public Schools the number of students taking AP courses in on the rise and this year more than 2,000 AP Exams will be taken throughout the district.

That is an increase of 11 percent or about 200 students more than last year.

Most colleges and universities give students college credit for earning high scores on their AP tests.
