It’s that time of year again. As Farmers work to get their crops planted, Iowans will see more farm equipment traveling on the road.

The Polk County Sheriff’s office is reminding everyone to share the road and be patient.

They advise drivers who see an orange triangle and flashing lights on a vehicle ahead to slow down and approach with care. Most farm equipment travels at speeds of 30mph or less and often takes up more than one lane. It is important to share the road and pass with caution.
