SUSPECT SOUGHT: Des Moines Pharmacy Robbery

Des Moines police say they’ve identified a suspect in the April robbery of a pharmacy.

Police are looking for 35-year-old Gary Lee Loomis Jr. He is charged with first degree robbery in connection with an incident at the Walgreens at 2930 E. University in Des Moines on April 15th.

Police say Loomis jumped over the pharmacy counter and threatened employees with a knife, demanding hydromorphone, a narcotic. He left the pharmacy after receiving the drug.

Loomis is a white male about five-foot-nine and 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
