A jury will return to work next week to decide the fate of a 14-year old accused of killing his own mother.

Noah Crooks is charged with first degree murder and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

Prosecutors say he murdered his mother Gretchen Crooks in their home in Osage.

The judge presiding over the case told the jury to keep working after they said they could not reach an agreement earlier this week.

Deliberations were then postponed when a jury member called in sick Friday, they are scheduled to resume on Monday.
