A Polk County Judge is expected to decide Wednesday if two teenagers will be tried as adults in the brutal beating of a Des Moines man.

Mike Wasike was carjacked and left on the side of the road in February. Three teenagers are charged with severely beating him.

Wasike has been hospitalized ever since with brain injuries.

Sixteen-year-old Kenneth Barry is already being tried as an adult on robbery charges.

During a hearing Tuesday, juvenile court officers for the two 15-year old suspects testified they should also be tried in adult court.
