CHILD HURT: Davenport Babysitter Arrested

A Davenport woman is charged with child endangerment, after police say she hit a child she was babysitting with a belt.

Twenty-two-year old Amber Holcomb was arrested on Friday.

Police say she used a belt to hit a 10-year-old child’s bare legs on May 2nd. A police affidavit says the belt left red marks and bruising.

Holcomb remains in the Scott County Jail. She will make her next court appearance June 6th.
