BURGLARY CASE: Workers Help Catch Suspects

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says two farm workers helped catch alleged copper wire thieves Wednesday.

Officials say the workers arrived to work at 2483 Oaks Avenue just outside of Marshalltown around 8:30 Wednesday morning.

The workers say the found three unauthorized people there. They chased the suspect vehicle and during the chase two men bailed.

Police caught up with and arrested 25-year-old Patrick Bracy and 30-year-old Raymond Shogren, both of Marshalltown. They face charges of trespassing and third degree burglary.

A third suspect is still on the loose. The suspect’s vehicle is described as an older mid-size station wagon with good grain panel on the sides and possibly green and tan in color.
