NEW JOB: Education Director Leaving Post

Iowa Education Director Jason Glass was a driving force behind the education reform bill passed late Wednesady night, and now he’s stepping down to take a new job.

Glass was chosen Wednesday, as the new superintendent of a Colorado School District.

Glass sent out the following tweet after receiving the news:

He served as director of human resources for the Eagle County School District from 2007 to 2010 before becoming Iowa’s Education Director.

He will begin his new job July 1.
