Fourteen of the veterans traveling fought in World War II and 80 of them fought in the Korean War. The group also took a group of veterans to D.C. from Cedar County.

One vet says it’s nice to go back to D.C. with some of his friends from the Korean War. [

“I’ve seen pretty much everything over there ya know what I mean, so pretty much being with the veterans is why I came,” says veteran Darrol Price

The group returns from Washington, D.C. at 10:00 Thursday night.
