The Iowa Cubs entered Sunday seven games under 500, but somehow only 5 games back in the Northern Division.

Sunday, they tried to make it three wins in a row over the Round Rock Express.

With the wind blowing out to center on a great day at Principal Park and trailing 4-3, Junior Lake rips it down the line. It was great play by the 3rd baseman to rob Lake and force an out at 2nd but it got Brad Nelson home to tie it at 4.

Also in the 3rd innings, Brent Lillibridge delivered.  Texas league bloop to right, it got down. Lake and Ian Stewart score, I-Cubs took a 6-4 lead.

Also in the 3rd, Logan Watkins hit a base knock to right allowing Lillibridge to score.

The I-Cubs win 10-7.
