The sentencing for a Boone man convicted of killing his wife has been moved to July.

Joshua Powell was originally scheduled to be sentenced for first degree murder Friday, now it is set for July 19th.

In May, a Boone County jury found him guilty of strangling his wife at their Ogden home last October.

He faces a mandatory life sentence.
