BACTERIA LEVELS: Gray’s Lake Safe

The all clear went out at Gray’s Lake Park in Des Moines Tuesday.

The lake was closed to swimmers and boaters on Friday because of high bacteria levels.

New tests show the levels have fallen and the lake was reopened Tuesday.

The spike in bacteria is being blamed on the recent flooding.
