SCHOOL BOARD: Ames Nominations Open

Nearly half of the Ames school district will be new faces in the fall. The board has three of its seven seats open.

They’ll be filled during an election on September 10th.

Mike Espeset, David Putz and William Talbot are all leaving at the end of their terms.

The open seats are four-year terms and expire in 2017.

Any interested candidates can begin filing nomination papers on Monday, July 8th. The papers must be filed by August 1st.
