The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into a Boone County incident earlier this week where two people allegedly shot at a crop dusting helicopter.

It happened near 320th and Eagle Avenue in Union around 7:00 Tuesday night.

A Boone County Sheriff’s Deputy found two individuals who admitted to firing a weapon. Fortunately, the helicopter wasn’t hit and no one was hurt.

The FAA is investigating and no charges have been filed in the case. The names of the people involved have not been released.
