  • 12 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 box cornflake crumbs
  • 1 loaf apple cinnamon or french bread
  • deli ham (2 slices per sandwich)
  • swiss cheese (2 slices per sandwich)


Whisk eggs then add milk and spices and whisk again


Dip bread into batter then coat with corn flakes crumbs and grill.  Lightly grill ham to warm.  Flip bread and place 1 slice of Swiss cheese and 1 slice of ham on each piece of bread.  Cover with a dome lid so the cheese melts.  Place one side onto the other and cut in half then sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jam or syrup.
