The leaders of Iowa’s two biggest universities are getting raises.

Thursday, the Iowa Board of Regents approved four-percent salary increases for University of Iowa president Sally Mason and Iowa State president Steven Leath.

Leath has been on the job for just one year.

Mason has been working without a contract for the last year.
