According to U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman, the negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership are in the end game stage.

Froman hopes to bring political level involvement into the negotiations by the end of the year. He will head to the country of Brunei, near Indonesia, for the next round of the talks later this month.

He says the last round of talks in Malaysia resulted in progress on a wide range of issues, and that he hopes in Brunei to capitalize on that momentum.
