Dallas County supervisors are meeting Tuesday to discuss the next step in trying to build a new jail and administration building.

Last week, voters rejected a $17 million bond referendum to build a new jail.

Now, the supervisors will review election data and issue the official results. The county auditor says they’ll also likely discuss the next step in the process.

The issue cannot be brought back up for a vote for another six months.
