Representative Bruce Braley will go to Maquoketa Wednesday to welcome home 26-students that were stranded in Kenya.

The group Club Hope was set to return last Wednesday but a massive fire at the nation’s main hub, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi stranded them for three days.

Rep. Braley and his staff worked with Delta Airlines to secure a flight home Sunday for the students and their chaperones.

The group was in Kenya on a service trip.
