The Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task force has made four more arrests in connection with a methamphetamine distribution ring.

In June, the task force seized 33 pounds of methamphetamine during an investigation. Four men were arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine at that time: Michael McManus, Jr., Terry Young and Juan Hernandez-Huerta of Ottumwa and Brian Carmer of Newton.

Now four more people have been arrested in the case. Twenty-eight-year-old Darrell Cosgrove and 19-year-old Alicia Choate of Eldora, 27-year-old Brett Whittington of Ottumwa, and 51-year-old James Fields of Oskaloosa have been charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Officials say even more arrests are expected.
