DEADLY CRASH: Two Dead, Three Injured In Wreck

Two people are dead and three others injured after an early morning crash in northern Iowa.

The single car accident happened just before 2 a.m. in Humboldt County, according to the Iowa State Patrol.

Pronounced dead at the scene were 18-year-old Cody Schachtner and 19-year-old Joshua Naeve.

Paramedics took 18-year-old Cody Weis-Brich and 19-year-old Tyler Zaugg to the hospital where they were later released.

Another man, 19-year-old Landon Nokleby suffered life-threatening injuries from the crash.  He was flown to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

All those in the car were from Humboldt.

The state patrol is investigating the crash.
