The trial date was set for a woman accused of torturing a dog.

Kelsey Block of Jesup was arrested by police in April.

Authorities believe she is connected to torture and starvation of a dog.

The dog was found dead, covered in feces and urine, side a crate that was dumped along a Waterloo road in February.

Block’s trial date is scheduled for October 23rd.

Two others were also charged in the case.

Police arrested Ty Hickman and A.J. Sellers.

Sellers asked for his charges to be dismissed.  A judge will decide that on October 18th.

Hickman’s trial is set for September 20th.
