The search is over for a man accused of severely injuring an Eastern Iowa toddler, authorities said.

Authorities in Dubuque arrested 21-year-old Troy Laufenberg before 10 p.m. last night.

Laufenberg is accused of causing severe brain damage to 18-month-old Myah Larson earlier this summer.

Officials found Myah unresponsive at her mother’s home in Monona on July 15th.

Doctors told family members that the injuries were consistent with Shaken Baby Syndrome.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation have been searching for Laufenberg since July 30th.

Laufenberg is being held in the Dubuque County Jail.
