CYCLOSPORA OUTBREAK: Farm Resumes Exports
The company that stopped production of its salads due to a cyclospora outbreak has resumed business.
Taylor Farms of Mexico started exporting to the US on Sunday.
The FDA completed its assessment of the plant and it didn’t reveal any indication of remaining cyclospora.
It also found the conditions and practices at Taylor Farms are in accordance with food safety protocols.
Investigators linked the illness to Taylor Farms salad served at Olive Garden and Red Lobster.
It sickened hundreds of people in the US including about 150 in Iowa.
