AGRIBUSINESS: New Record In Exports For U.S. Agriculture

U.S. Agriculture is expected to reach a new record in exports this year.

According to the USDA, the projected fiscal year exports are at $140 billion.  USDA predicted exports in the 2012 fiscal year at $134.5 billion, an increase of $3.5 billion over fiscal year 2011 numbers.

U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said the U.S. has achieved five years of positive momentum in agriculture exports and these exports support more than one million jobs in the U.S.
