DRUNK DRIVING: Extra Patrols In Polk County

Extra eyes will be out on the roads this Friday night.

The Central Iowa Traffic Safety Task Force will be on the lookout for drunk drivers and those not wearing seatbelts.

Police say everyone should designate a sober driver before attending any event with alcohol.

Officers aren’t being specific about where they’ll be but they are saying it will be somewhere in the western part of Polk County.
