FATAL BEATING: Third Suspect Turns Himself In

Des Moines police say the third man accused of murder in a brutal beating turned himself in Tuesday morning.

40-year old Richard Daughenbaugh was attacked by a group of people in the early hours of Sunday, August 25th in a parking lot near Second Avenue and Center Street.

Last week police arrested 18-year-old Yarvon Russell and 18-year-old James Shorter.

After a warrant was out for his arrest, 18-year old Kent Tyler turned himself in, police confirmed.

All three have been charged with first degree murder.

Richard DaughenbaughTyler joins Russell and Shorter in the Polk County jail on a $500,000 bond.

Police are still looking for 21-year-old Leprese Williams for willful injury in the case.

Police say interviews will be conducted Tuesday afternoon and warn there could be more charges.
