Top GOP leadership in the U.S. House has not yet settled on a strategy for moving forward on the Farm Bill.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor says the House will pass an nutrition bill this month, then appoint conferees for the House-Senate conference. The current Farm Bill, an extension of 2008 farm policy, expires on the 30th of this month.
