A longtime Iowa Republican activist and the party’s 2002 nominee for Governor said he’s had enough of Iowa Congressman Steve King.

King’s comments on illegal immigration don’t represent the opinions of the state’s Republicans, according to Doug Gross.

“Frankly, as a Republican who’s been involved in our party for a long time, I’m sick and tired of what Steve King is saying,” Gross said.

The full interview of what King said that sparked harsh criticism from Gross and why Gross thinks King could face an election challenge from another Republican will be available Sunday morning on The Insiders.
