Incredible timelapse footage shows the epic engineering effort it took to move a historic Des Moines home.

The Samuel Green/Norden Hall Row House was built in 1894 at E. 7th and E. Locust Streets but was moved Wednesday after developers saved it from being torn down.

The new home was rolled to E. 4th and Grand, four blocks away.

The Lime Lounge set up a camera to document its new neighbor move in and posted the footage on Facebook.

“That was awesome,” Dj Episode commented about the move. While Devon Payton Greer described the footage saying, “That’s crazy.”
