The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office says it has taken two sex offenders into custody but is still searching for another.

Following a verification project Wednesday, where officials tried to confirm sex offenders in Jasper County were properly registered and living where they say they were, three men were found to be non-compliant.

The sheriff’s office released information about the men to the media in the hope the public could help find the men. Officials now say two of those men, Leonidas Psomas and Jerry Sanders Jr., were taken into custody Thursday. A tip led to Psomas’ arrest in Newton and Sanders turned himself in to Pella police.

Officials are still seeking 31-year-old Jonathan Etter. He is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.

If you have any information on Etter’s location, contact the Jasper County Sheriff`s Office at 641-792-5912.

The Online Hit-List that can be used by anyone to go into a registrant’s home and kill all it’s occupants and you wonder why they rather not be compliant? Can you really blame them NOT to wish to be compliant? Really?
