WAPELLO COUNTY: Accused Burglar Out On Bond

An Ottumwa man is out on bond after being accused of burglary and misusing a credit card.

The Wapello County Sheriff’s office said it responded to a call on Sept. 4 of vehicle burglary and credit card misuse in Ottumwa.

Authorities later arrested 31-year-old Charles Sytsma.

Sytsma was charged with third-degree burglary and two counts of misuse of a credit card.  He was released from the Wapello County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
