This weekend is all about classic cars.

The Webster County Cruisers is taking over the fairgrounds all weekend for three days of car activities with the annual Cruise to the Woods celebration.

The weekend kicks off on Friday with nostalgia drag racing at the Humboldt Speedway.  Spectators are welcome but the drag strip is for street cars only during the event.

Saturday will be filled with car-themed games and activities and a scavenger hunt cruise.  At night there will be a dance featuring Ritchie Lee and the Fabulous 50’s.

Sunday is the day for the big cruise where 10 separate cruise routes starting along the edges of Iowa will all come together for a parade of classic cars at the Webster County Fairgrounds.  After the cruise will be the classic car show where spectators can check out the antique cars and possibly win one of the car-themed prizes that will be given away.
