There are only 11 days until the shutdown crisis will merge with the debt ceiling debate.

Congress has to find a way to raise the debt ceiling or the treasury has said it will run out of money.

You can get one side’s take on the effect of the country’s national debt of nearly $17-trillion at Drake University next week.

The Can Kicks Back will be screening the award-winning documentary, Overdraft, on Monday at Parents Hall in Olmsted.   The film is about educating young adults on the issue of our nation’s debt.

The movie starts at 6 p.m.  There will be a question and answer session after the movie, along with free pizza.
