ALZHEIMER’S AWARENESS: Fundraiser Walk This Saturday

Join in this Saturday to walk for a cause.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is being held Oct. 12 at the Fort Dodge Aquatic Center.  The walk will start at 10 a.m. but registration will open at 9 a.m.  Walkers can register the day of the event or beforehand on the group’s website.

The money raised from the walk will go toward advance Alzheimer’s support and care as well as to fund research.  This year’s fundraising goal is $30,000.  So far, participants in the Fort Dodge walk have raised nearly $13,000.
