The state auditor has found another $200,000 in improper disbursements in connection to a former Department of Transportation employee.

The DOT requested a special investigation due to concerns from real estate transactions from 56-year-old David Weigel.

Weigel sold property for the DOT in the Right of Way office. The additional amount brings the total of improper disbursements to $776,000.

Investigators say Weigel had buyers write out two checks, one to the DOT and the other to him.

Weigel has pleaded not guilty to charges against him.
