A rain/snow mix moved across the state early today. Generally we will see more snow in northern Iowa and rain in southern Iowa. Snow may accumulate up to 1 or 2 inches in grassy areas in the northern half of the state. Winds will be strong throughout the day. Highs today will reach the lower to middle 40s. Tonight will be partly cloudy and very cold with lows in the 20s.

Tomorrow another system will bring a rain/snow mix to central Iowa. Wednesday will be very similar to today with highs in the mid 40s and windy conditions.

The end of the week and weekend will be dry and slightly warmer with temperatures in the 50s.
