LATE HARVEST: Weather Delays Farmers

The early snowfall in parts of Iowa is slowing down a harvest season that is already behind schedule.

The USDA reports 35-percent of the Iowa corn harvest is already complete. Seventy-percent of the soybeans are already out of the field.

Both of those totals are well behind where farmers normally are this time of year.

More than 40-percent of the crop coming out of the fields is rated good-to-excellent.
