Pleasant Hill (WHO-HD)

Pleasant Hill city authorities are warning residents of a new scam.

Officials say an impersonator is mailing code enforcement violation letters. The letters refer to improper deposit of debris, especially grass clippings in the street.

City Hall authorities just became aware of the letters Tuesday.

Officials say the city does not mail enforcement letters regarding grass clippings. If you do receive a letter from the city it will be on letterhead, have an employee signature and telephone number on it.

If you receive one of the scam letters, contact the City Hall.
