AGRIBUSINESS: Senators Hope To Allow Americans To Keep Current Health Care Coverage

Nebraska Senator Mike Johanns and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson are cosponsoring the If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act.

The legislation removes Affordable Care Act provisions that require insurance companies discontinue or dramatically change many of their health care plans.  Reports surfaced earlier this week that the health care plans that some Americans use would expire in the coming months, due to Affordable Care Act requirements.

A CBS report estimated more than two-million will be booted off from their current plans.

Johann said forcing millions of Americans to give up their current health care plans they like would be unfair.
