A Dunkerton football player accused of having a gun in his bag during a football game has been arrested in Texas.

Maryo Lindsey faces charges in Black Hawk County of carrying weapons, possession of a firearm on school grounds, possession of a firearm by a felon and marijuana possession.

The 18-year old is in a Texas jail on a $200,000 bond.

Lindsey was last seen at the end of August when one of his football coaches found a gun in his bag.

Authorities say Lindsay left his bag behind while getting medical attention for a game-time injury.
