Fire investigators are working to figure out what sparked a fire at an eastern Iowa bar.

Flames damaged the Graffiti Bar and Grill in Clinton around 6:30 Wednesday morning.

Officials say the fire started in the back of the building and damaged the roof. It took crews about an hour and a half to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters say the property is on a bit of slant and it was cold enough the water used to put out the fire was freezing, making the ground slippery and dangerous.
