GOP VISITORS: Huckabee, Ryan Returning To Iowa

Two high-profile Republicans are coming back to Iowa this week.

Mike Huckabee, the 2008 Iowa Caucus winner, is speaking at a fundraiser for Informed Choice of Iowa at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines Thursday night. The group hosting the event promotes alternatives to abortion.

Tickets for the dinner are sold out but you can still buy row seats without a meal. The event starts at 7:00 p.m.

Former vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is also heading to the metro. Ryan will speak at Gov. Terry Branstad’s birthday bash this Saturday.

It’s at Adventureland Park in Altoona. Tickets for the bash, start at $65 per person.
