ARL VISIT: Joey The Dog And Upcoming Events

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Robin Abeltins from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa stopped by with one of the new rescues.  Joey, a five-year-old Shih Tzu, was rescued by the ARL after Joey's last owner died.  Joey is a cuddly and calm dog who likes other dogs and children but would do best with a quiet, more mature home.

The ARL has many holiday and pet-themed events coming up like Santa N' Paws, where you can get your pet's picture taken with Santa.

More information on the ARL, pets available for adoption and upcoming ARL events is available here.

I am interested in adopting “Joey”, the Shih Tzu, featured on Ch. 13 this morn. Please advise if “Joey” is still available. Thank You
