If you’re looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit you can start with a walk down Knoxville’s town square Thursday night.

Living Windows is being held between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The windows will be lit up and visitors will be able to watch holiday scenes.

Businesses are opening their doors, hanging holiday décor, and there’s also a holiday lighted parade where Santa will be making an appearance.

Visitors will have to walk around construction. The city is undergoing a big streetscape project.

Dylan Morse with the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce says they’ll be ready for Thursday night’s event…

“We’ll cover all the bulldozers and everything. Hang Christmas lights and get ready for Santa and Mrs. Claus to come to town,” says Morse.

Kids will be able to meet Santa at the Grand Theater before the parade.
