Overnight tonight temperatures will fall into the teens as a strong NW wind builds in. Wind chills will fall into the single digits below zero early Saturday.

Highs will only bounce back into the upper teens and low 20s across the state. Wind chills will remain in the single digits all day.

Both Iowa and Iowa State are expected to set or tie records for all-time low kickoff temperatures. Be sure to bundle up at both games as periods of below-zero wind chills are expected.

Temperatures will moderate a bit into next week, with highs in the 30s through Thanksgiving. Quiet weather is expected throughout the Midwest in the lead up to the holiday.
