Today will start off clear and cold. Clouds will increase through the day and highs will only be in the teens.

Expect light snow showers on-and-off through Sunday. Around 3" of snow is expected in Des Moines. 2" to 5" totals will be common over central Iowa.

The snow will end by Monday morning, but the wind will return. Blowing snow will cause low visibilities and slick roads Monday.
