This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Wind chill Advisory is in effect until 11 AM for parts of the state.

Today will be windy and a little warmer this afternoon. Highs will quickly warm into the 20s. The south wind will be the force behind some melting.

Saturday will start off in the 20s and drop into the teens. There will be a chance for light snow as a cold front marches through the state. The heaviest snow will be in Southeast Iowa.

THE BIG headline will be the COLD. Monday and Tuesday morning lows will be -10 to -15. Ouch.
